Our Zinfandel is a dry farmed, gobelet trained “Old Vine” classic from Lopez Ranch in the historic wine growing region of Cucamonga Valley. In the glass, the wine opens with complex aromas of raspberry liquor, ripe raspberry and cherries, caramel and mocha tones, as well as a dry earth characteristic. On the palate, the wine shows the same raspberry and cherry flavors, yet has a classic Zinfandel backdrop of dried plum and black fig. Elements of raspberry liquor, mocha and caramel, and a dusty, stony minerality remains consistent throughout the finish. Aged in 3 yr. old American Oak barrels for one year prior to bottling. Enjoy!
