With grapes sourced from the Frankel Family Estate and Live Oak Vineyards in Paso Robles this wine was produced at our winery in Crestline, California. The wine opens up with aromas of delicious black plums and blackberries, surrounded by an essence of sweet tobacco, menthol, eucalyptus, Earl Grey tea and chocolate. The palate delivers the same black fruits on the nose, along with menthol, sweet tobacco, chocolate, caramel, and coconut components. Nice acidity, chalky tannins, and a long, lingering finish. Aged in 50% new and 50% once used French Oak barrels for two years prior to bottling.
