With grapes sourced from the Frankel Family Estate and Live Oak Vineyards in Paso Robles this wine was produced at our winery in Crestline, California. This is not a “Sideways” Merlot; the wine opens in the glass with aromas of wild blueberries, licorice, candied cherries, black plum skins and wild herbs. The palate delivers the same blue and black fruits with essence of mocha, vanilla and baking spices. It has a juicy acidity, supple tannins, and a long finish. Aged in French Oak barrels (50% new) for one year in the cellar prior to bottling.
