With grapes sourced from Rafael Jimenez' Vineyard in Paso Robles, San Miguel District this wine was produced at our winery in Crestline, California. The wine opens in the glass with aromatics of chai spice and black tea, dried rose and violet petals, blackberry, blueberry, and cocoa nibs. The palate follows with black plum, dried apricots, and the same blue and black fruits as on the nose with hints of cocoa nibs and dark chocolate. This is a full bodied wine with smooth silky tannins. Aged in a new 225L French Oak barrel for one year in the cellar prior to bottling.
