With Merlot sourced from the Frankel Family Estate in Paso Robles and Petit Verdot sourced from Defiance Vineyards in Creston, this wine was produced at our winery in Crestline, California. A lively wine that opens on the nose with ripe black cherry and blueberry aromas along with dried florals, coffee, and chocolate. The palate delivers with fresh blackberry, blueberry, and black plum leading into coffee, mocha, undertones of sweet tobacco, and an earthy minerality. Aged in French Oak (33% new) and Hungarian Oak barrels for one year in the cellar prior to bottling. Enjoy!
