With Syrah sourced from Tierra Alta Vineyard in Santa Barbara County’s Ballard Canyon AVA this beautiful wine was produced at our winery in Crestline, California. This crowd pleaser opens on the nose with ripe black plum, blueberry, and black cherry, followed by black pepper, olive tapenade, meaty umami, maple and herbal undertones with a lingering scent of dried violet. The black and blue fruit remain on the palate but explode with black olive, black pepper, herbs de Provence, licorice, and an earthy minerality. Juicy and smooth, yet bold and bright. Aged in American Oak barrels (33% new) for one year prior to bottling. Enjoy!
